it's been a while since i've blogged, mostly because i've been too lazy and i know that no one reads it. but i guess now i'll restart this tedious task.
school has been pretty difficult so far. i'm sort of struggling to get through all 3 of my classes. calculus 2 isn't that hard, but it's just tricky. you need logic to solve a lot of the problems. physics 52 is pretty difficult because of the combination of a terrible teacher and a boatload of homework. and lastly, ce99 is just a whatever class to me because i've not been doing homework in that class. oh well.
i've been caught up with biking as well. it seems that my interests change with the seasons. during fall, winter, and spring, i am obsessed with bikes. during summer, i am obsessed with my car and possibly have little or no interest in bikes.
tuesday night rides have been fun. it's definitely something to look forward to every week.

MADNESS? THIS IS (cvb-635Bb)
so i'm about to go mad because i'm letting my pet peeves take over my sanity. i've just realized that a lot of my pet peeves and even new pet peeves are being brought up. this was all just through living with my current roommate.
a little history: i've had 3 roommates through my college life. some have had 2, or even 2 on their freshman year. but i think i've gone through a lot of roommates, thus, giving me a somewhat good experience with living with others.
my first roommate was actually very chill. i would come back late at night around 1 or 2 am and just sleep like normal. he wouldn't really care about anything. the only thing that bothered me was his gf living with us. the thing is that she lived in the SAME building, just ONE floor above. but she stayed with us anyways. she would sleep over every night, and be there everyday. ok, nothing wrong with that, except for the fact that they make love and PDA right in front of me, and while i am sleeping sometimes. i can hear them, but i pretend to ignore it. in fact, i've caught them about 3 times when i just wanted to go into my room. not cool. other than that they were chill. now, the next roommate.
my 2nd roommate was extremely chill. he would often mind his own business and would be very quiet. i actually had no problem living with him. we got along pretty well. however, he brought up my first pet peeve, that is, chewing with his mouth open. if you think of it, many people do it, but none of us actually notice it. we see it but we're sorta whatever about it. but then another one of our senses take over. the sense of hearing. you just hear them chewing loudly. their saliva mixing with their food (even already quite moist) to create an ungodly sound. the sound of food mashing in one's mouth, where the open mouth just amplifies the horrible sound. not cool.
my 3rd and current roommate is what i consider the best out of the 3. he's respectful when im trying to study or do homework, but nothing else really. he brought up the most of my pet peeves:
1.) loud chewing (see above). i'll just list some foods here. subway, apple, banana, cereal, sandwich, mac'n'cheese.
2.) slurping from his cup. usually i'm not too picky about this, but it's really annoying.
3.) performing his actions with force. i had a hard time making up a title for this, but it's quite descriptive. he puts down his cup with force, closes the cabinets, closets, and fridge with force, turns pages with force, washing the dishes and throwing them in the sink, all of which makes a loud noise, which leads to my next one.
4.) being loud when i'm trying to sleep. i don't think i need to go into much discussion on this one. in the morning he's so rough with the cabinets, the zipper on his backpack, and just morning stuff in general.
i understand that i may be sounding anal and douche-like, but all of these things are true. perhaps it might drive you mad even reading this. perhaps since i'm an only child, i've never had to deal with living with other people and them making a lot of noise.
i try doing my part in being a good roommate by being courteous and respectful, and i'll continue doing that, but i'm almost on the brink of going mad due to all of these peeves.
